Welcome to our new and existing families and to a new and exciting year at the Kim Baker Ballet Academy. Congratulations to all of the students who participated in the end of year performance A Midsummer Night s Dream and Nutcracker Highlights. It was a huge success and I along with all of the other teachers at KBBA were extremely proud of the high standard of dancing performed by our senior students. The junior students also danced beautifully, and the tiny tots provided much entertainment on the night.

Classes and official office hours for 2012 commence on Saturday 4^th February 2012, however, the office will be open for 1 early date on Saturday28th January, so that students and parents can enrol, pay fees and purchase uniforms before classes commence.

Congratulations to our 2011 graduating students, Conor Coyle and Tarsha Smolenski who were both successful in auditioning for elite full time courses commencing January 2012. Conor has been accepted into the elite Australian Ballet School level 5 full time program and has been awarded a full scholarship, and Tarsha has been accepted into the Adelaide Centre of the Arts Bachelor of Dance 3 year full time course.

Congratulations also to current level 3 student Bethany Gosling who has been re-accepted into the elite Australian Ballet School Interstate Program, and graduating student of 2010, Kate Jenkins, who currently studies at WAAPA, and has been chosen to represent WAAPA in New York, where she will attend the Bachelor of Dance Program at Purchase College, where she will study dance for 4 months in 2012.

I do hope that you all enjoy your classes this year at KBBA, and we look forward to seeing you in February when your classes commence.
